Scribendi founded by Bill McDonough as a traditional advertising and PR firm. The name comes from Latin, meaning "to write," reflecting the focus on content creation that has remained central to the company's approach.

1998–2013

Scribendi operates as a one-person advertising and public relations agency, working across multiple industries while maintaining a strong focus on professional services.

2013

Conor McDonough joins as partner, adding expertise in digital marketing, website development, and SEO—shifting the firm toward digital-first growth while preserving its content-driven foundation.
