Scribendi Managing Partner Conor McDonough recently volunteered with Swim with a Mission (SWAM) during the organization’s Mission 250 event at Tuscan Village in Salem, New Hampshire.

The event featured live music, inspiring guest speakers, helicopter demonstrations, parachute jumpers, and a memorable K9 demonstration in which service dogs rappelled down the side of the L.L. Bean building.

SWAM is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting America’s veterans by funding critical programs, including mental health services, housing assistance, service K9 programs, employment training, and other essential resources that improve the lives of veterans and their families.

While Conor (wisely) opted out of the event’s push-up contest, he has committed to supporting SWAM’s mission in another way. He will run the 2027 Berlin Marathon on behalf of the organization to help raise funds and awareness for the important work SWAM continues to do for veterans.
