Analytics & Reporting
You can’t improve what you don’t measure. Analytics and reporting tells you what’s working, what’s not, and where to focus your effort and budget. Without it, you’re making marketing decisions based on gut feel instead of data.
What Analytics & Reporting Actually Means
Analytics and reporting isn’t just sending you a monthly dashboard. It’s setting up proper tracking, making sense of the data, and connecting marketing activity to business outcomes.
We track what actually matters to your business. Not just pageviews and rankings. Qualified traffic. Content downloads. Form submissions. Sales conversations. Pipeline influence. Revenue. The metrics that tell you if marketing is contributing to growth.
We set up tracking properly from the start. Google Analytics & Search Console configured correctly. Goal tracking for every important action. UTM parameters so you know where traffic comes from. Event tracking for key interactions. Form submissions flowing to your CRM. Everything connected so data flows where it needs to go.
We make the data understandable. Raw analytics platforms show you everything, which means they show you nothing useful. We create reports that answer the questions you actually care about. What’s driving qualified traffic? Which content pieces lead to conversions? What channels influence pipeline? Where should you invest more?
We use data to improve strategy. Performance data shows what topics resonate, what channels work, what messages convert. We adjust content plans, reallocate budget, and refine targeting based on what the numbers tell us. Strategy evolves based on evidence, not assumptions.
How This Applies to Everything We Do
Marketing without measurement is just spending money and hoping. You need to know if your new website generates more leads than the old one. If your SEO investment drives qualified traffic or just vanity metrics. If your social media content influences sales conversations. If the content you’re creating actually gets read and shared.
Good analytics tells you where you’re winning and where you’re wasting effort. Maybe your blog drives great traffic but converts poorly. That tells you to improve calls to action, not write more posts. Maybe LinkedIn drives fewer visitors but higher conversion rates. That tells you to invest more there.
It also helps you prove marketing ROI. When your CEO asks what you’re getting for the marketing budget, you have answers. Specific numbers on leads generated, pipeline influenced, and revenue connected to marketing activity. You can make the business case for continued investment because you can show results.
And it helps us work smarter together. When we see what performs well, we create more of it. When something underperforms, we fix it or stop doing it. Data prevents us from continuing tactics that feel right but don’t actually work.
How We Approach Analytics & Reporting
This isn’t separate work you pay for. Analytics and reporting is built into how we operate. We can’t do effective SEO, content strategy, or website optimization without knowing what performs well. The data informs everything we do.
Proper setup and configuration.
We install and configure Google Analytics correctly. Set up goal tracking for every important action on your site. Implement UTM tracking so you know traffic sources. Connect your CRM so form submissions flow properly. Get the technical foundation right from the start.
Custom dashboard development.
We create dashboards that show what you care about. Not everything Google Analytics can measure, but the specific metrics that matter to your business. Traffic sources. Content performance. Conversion paths. Lead generation. Pipeline influence when trackable.
Regular reporting and analysis.
You get monthly or quarterly reports that explain what happened and why it matters. Not just data dumps. Clear explanations of performance, trends, and what we're learning.
Continuous optimization based on data.
We use performance data to refine strategy constantly. Which content topics drive engagement? Which channels deliver qualified leads? What conversion paths work best? We adjust plans based on what the evidence shows, not what we think should work.
How This Connects to Our Core Services
Analytics and reporting powers every service:
Website Development:
We track user behavior on your site. Which pages get visited? Where do people drop off? What paths lead to conversions? This data informs continuous site improvements and proves whether redesigns actually improve performance.
SEO & AI Optimization:
We monitor rankings, organic traffic, and which keywords drive qualified visitors. We track whether AI Overviews cite your content. We see which topics generate engagement and conversions. All of this shapes ongoing content strategy.
Content & Social Media:
We measure what content gets read, shared, and leads to conversions. Which topics resonate? What formats work? Which social posts drive website visits? Data shows what to create more of and what to stop.
Paid Advertising:
When you run paid campaigns, we track cost per lead, conversion rates, and return on ad spend. You know exactly what you're getting for your investment. No more wondering if paid social or search ads actually work.
Every service includes standard reporting. If you need custom dashboards, advanced attribution modeling, or integration with specific business intelligence tools, we can build that. But basic analytics and scheduled reporting is included in everything we do.
Common Questions About Analytics & Reporting
Is this included or does it cost extra?
Standard analytics setup and monthly reporting is included in all our services. You don’t pay separately for it. Custom dashboards, advanced attribution modeling, or specialized tracking might be additional depending on complexity, but basic measurement is always included.
What tools do you use?
Primarily Google Analytics 4 for website tracking, Google Search Console for SEO data, and platform-specific analytics for social media and paid advertising. We can integrate with your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) to track leads through to closed deals when possible.
How often do we get reports?
Quarterly strategy reviews that look at bigger trends and implications are standard. Monthly performance reports are also available if you’d like. We’ll work on your schedule.
Can you prove marketing ROI?
We can show marketing’s influence on pipeline and revenue when your systems allow for tracking. Some companies have CRM integration that lets us follow leads from first website visit through closed deal. Others can only track to form submission or sales conversation. We work with whatever tracking is possible in your environment.
What if we don't have analytics set up at all?
That’s fine. We start from scratch. Install proper tracking, configure goals, set up dashboards, and begin collecting data. You won’t have historical data to compare against initially, but you’ll have good data going forward.
